No actual soiling occurred during use.

The size was not quite right, so I tried them on about 10 times, but ultimately the crotch fit was off, and I gave up.

The Velcro is strong and secure, but it sticks to any fabric it touches, which can be a bit tricky. This might depend on individual perception.

They are clean, and I have quickly washed them.
Again, no soiling occurred, so there are no hygiene issues.
